The owner is claiming he got transmission done recently and it is under warranty….The car drives fine but it jerks whenever i lift the leg of the gas pedall…What should i do? Should i buy it for $5500 and expect some future repair…It has 124K on it….I really want your opinion
CHECK FOR BROKEN MOTOR MOUNTS, Put in gear and apply a little gas while holding the other foot on the brake. If the engine rises up , the mount is broken . Do the same in reverse and observe for other mounts condition. Not uncommon for that mileage.
