I gotta say, you made that Tracker look like one bad-ass mofo.

Great Disco, dedicated snow tyres would help if icy.
Those look like AT’s or MT’s? Love the speed in the initial shot, really fast!

I like LRs, but actually in Africa most are now running Land Cruisers-I was told when I was in Tanzania that the parts are easier to find/cheaper than LR.

New fuel pump and maintenance is all its needed since I’ve owned it and i’ve had it for 8 years and I know many other people with good running 350’s with lots more miles then mine…

@raspcrew I have a 93 GMC pickup with a 5.7 (350ci) thats got 284,000 +/- miles and still runs great..

I was proving a point against your dumbass remark “and a rebuild, which they all need, can be got for 150 bucks”, because that old ‘burb sure as hell didn’t need a rebuild. And with 170k when I sold it the burb showed no signs of stopping anytime soon either. Most of the Land Rover’s around here are crap as well. This one is pretty sweet though.

And I’ve seen plenty of vehicles with 350k+. There several million-mile vehicles from all makes around. Just search for them.

Your proud of 170,000 miles? lmao Try my mercedes diesel with 357,651 on an unrebuilt. Africa is a continent where you need reliability, thats why ther drive land rover diesels, not chevy suburbans

big90burb Said,

Is that the case? They all need rebuilt? Then can you please explain to me why my old 1990 suburban had 170,000 miles on it and still started and ran better than most new cars?

And sick vid btw. I put my old suburban in a huge rut exactly like that about a year ago… Took two trucks to pull it out haha

rap…if you knew anything about it, you would know that it IS 350 hp, because it’s been dyno’d. Yes, it is possible to have 350 c.i. AND 350 h.p. We were out at a huge 4×4 event last weekend, and this beast made a MOCKERY of the other LR’s out there. Suprise suprise, the motor still runs and doesn’t need a rebuild.

mygif
raspcrew Said,
June 19th, 2010 @8:29 pm

350 is the cubic inch not the horsepower. and they arn’t reliable,
the only reason they are popular is cuz its so simple an inbred redneck can rebuild it, and a rebuild, which they all need, can be got for 150 bucks

mygif
raspcrew Said,
June 19th, 2010 @8:32 pm

Its supposed to have a DIESEL 300tdi its the US EPA that screwed that up. But even the land rover v8 is better than a 350

because the landrover engine is a crap BUICK engine from “70’s/80’s”
