The 206 1.4L is an excellent little car for lower middle class people. Get a 4 door version if you have kids.
Later on in life you will rise to upper middle class and your kids will be bigger. TOO big for the 206.
Then you’ll need a station car or a minivan. You’ll be making more money then, and you’ll be older.
Get a Ciroen berlingo, or a Ford Galaxy.
Right now, you are just starting out…enjoy the 206 Peugeot and start saving your money.!!
I have 2 young children and drive a 205 and a 405 (from the 1990’s). What does that make me? Upper budget class.

Where have you got this idea from?
The car you drive does not put you in a social class, but it may influence what shallow people think of you. As a guide, the car itself means less than the condition it is in.
A 2 year old top of the range BMW with scrapes, primer, chrome tat and badly applied window film gives a worse impression than a 15 year old rover in good condition. I don’t feel I am lower class than the guy with the 56 plate £47k Rangerover down the road, just because I drive a £3k Citroen.
I have to ask – which class do you feel you are in, and justify your answer please?
